In consideration of The Wisdom of Healing School, Inc. (“The School”) furnishing services and/or equipment and permitting me to participate in its classes, workshops, seminars, trainings, retreats, events, and other activities (“Activities”), I agree, on behalf of myself and my successors, assigns, heirs and personal representatives, as follows:

For purposes of this Waiver and Release, “Activities” shall include activities undertaken both in the United States or in other countries or venues outside of the United States.

I understand that I may leave the Activities at any time for any reason.

I fully understand and acknowledge that the Activities have inherent foreseeable and unforeseeable risks, my participation in Activities may result in injury or illness, and the risks of the Activities may arise from foreseeable or unforeseeable causes including the negligence of others, accidents, diseases, and other causes. 

I also understand that the Activities may bring up issues of a highly personal nature that may cause me to experience emotional or physical responses that may be unexpected and/or unpleasant.  Further, I understand that I may experience mental, emotional, physical, or spiritual distress and that such distress may cause unpleasant feelings. What is experienced in these Activities may create physical responses on my part or on the part of other participants.

As a condition of my participation in Activities, I represent and warrant that I am fully capable of participating in Activities, and that I have not and will not consume any alcoholic beverages or other substances that would impair my senses or abilities. I confirm that I do not suffer from any mental or physical impairment and have not been diagnosed at any point with a disorder, condition, or injury, either physical or mental, that might make it inadvisable for me to assume such risks.

I hereby accept and assume all risks of my participation in Activities, whether disclosed or undisclosed, foreseeable or unforeseeable, and accept and assume all responsibility for any liability, claims, demands, losses, expenses or damages whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other conduct of The School or any other person. I hereby release and discharge, waive any right, covenant not to sue, and agree to hold harmless, defend, and indemnify The School and its officers, directors, members, managers, agents, employees, successors and assigns, from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, expenses or damages for or arising out of any bodily injury, disease, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of my participation in Activities.

I acknowledge the Activities are not designed as a substitute for therapy or any other form of professional consultation. The Activities are designed as an educational venue only.

Consent to Media Usage

I further irrevocably agree and consent that The School and its successors and assigns may produce and reproduce audio and audiovisual recordings and still photographs (“Media”) of me and my participation and performance in Activities and to edit, alter, distribute, perform, display, exhibit and otherwise use the Media in advertising and promotional materials throughout the world in perpetuity in any media now known or hereafter developed. The School shall have all right, title and interest my likeness and performance in connection with the Media. This consent is given as an inducement for The School to produce Media and I understand The School will incur substantial expense in reliance thereof. The School is not obliged to make any use of Media or exercise any of the rights granted by this release. I hereby release The School and its officers, directors, members, managers, agents, employees, successors and assigns from all claims based on use of the Media.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, The Wisdom of Healing School will upon my request provide me with prior written notice in each instance of its intention to distribute Media which includes my likeness or performance.

Copyright and AI Use

The Wisdom of Healing School content is provided solely for authorized personal use. Except with The Wisdom of Healing School’s express prior written permission, no person may record, download, copy, capture, scrape, reproduce, distribute, publish, upload, share, archive, or create derivative works from any The Wisdom of Healing School session, class, meditation, livestream, recording, transcript, audio, video, written material, or other content.

No person may use bots, scrapers, screen-recording tools, audio-capture tools, browser extensions, or other technical means to bypass these restrictions.

No The Wisdom of Healing School content, and no name, voice, image, likeness, persona, identity, performance, or teaching of Ron Young or any The Wisdom of Healing School personnel, faculty, or contractors, may be used for AI training, machine learning, dataset creation, voice cloning, voice synthesis, avatars, deepfakes, synthetic media, impersonation, false endorsement, or any similar purpose without express prior written permission of The Wisdom of Healing School.

All rights are reserved, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity/personality, name, image, likeness, voice, and personal rights. These restrictions survive termination of access by a person. Violations may result in termination of employment, termination of contract, expulsion from Activities, takedown demands, preservation of evidence, and pursuit of all available legal and equitable remedies. Persons violating this policy shall be liable for any and all legal fees and expenses incurred in protecting the rights of The Wisdom of Healing School and Ron Young to any of its works and materials regardless of form.
